Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Ignatius Ajuru University of Education for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Our Weekend Part-Time Programmes
Features of the Part-Time Programme:
- Attend classes and take courses together with regular counterparts.
- Write examinations alongside regular counterparts.
- Obtain a first degree in 4 years, similar to regular counterparts.
- Benefit from a regular academic environment.
- Option to apply for hostel accommodation.
- Participate in and complete the NYSC programme upon graduation.
Admission Requirements for Part-Time Programme
- Five (5) credit passes in SSCE, NECO, and NABTEB obtained in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language and Mathematics. Three of these should be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer.
- Candidates must be 26 years and above.
Requirements for Direct Entry:
- Possession of an HND Certificate from a recognized Polytechnic or Institution, or recognized professional accounting qualifications (applicable to accounting candidates only).
- Completion or exemption and/or exclusion from NYSC where applicable.
- Credits in English Language and Mathematics at O’level.
- Transcript for ND and HND.

Method of Application
- Visit the University Website www.iaue.edu.ng. or (Since you’re currently on IAUECCE Website, just Click Apply for Admission into 2024/2025 Academic Session) then continue from step 4 below.
- On the ADMISSION Menu, click on “College of Continuing Education”.
- Click on “2024/2025 Part-time Registration”.
- On the page that appears, select the Programme Type.
- Enter your Surname, Firstname, Phone number, and valid email address, then click Register.
- An email containing your login details will be sent to you. Ensure you use a valid email address during registration.
- Your login details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy.
- The system will display the generated Registration and Prospectus Fees.
- Click on Sign-in and enter your username and password.
- You will be prompted to change your password. Save your new password for future logins.
- Click on the Pay Button on the generated Fees, then click on Create Invoice.
- Confirm your Invoice and click on Proceed to Pay.
- You will be redirected to Interswitch payment platform to enter your card details and make payment.
- After payment, click on ‘Update Registration Form’, update all fields on your form, and submit.
- Click on “Upload Documents” to upload required documents (WAEC & Others).
- Print your Registration Slip, log out, and proceed to CCE for Form Submission and stamping/confirmation.
- Save your login details. Your username and password are your credentials to access your profile in the portal.
- Completed forms should be returned to CCE, not later than 4th Oct, 2024 with copies of credentials. Note that registration is online and candidates can register from any location.
